Semi Ojeleye very much benefited from transferring to SMU from Duke. He went from being buried at the end of Duke’s bench to being the star man for a tourney team. Ojeleye lead SMU to both AAC regular season and Tournament championships.

His efforts was awarded with winning AAC Player of the Year. Ojeleye averaged an impressive 18.9 points whilst shooting a very impressive 42.4 percent from deep. In addition, he redshirt junior is able to play both forward positions. He should get a chance to shine in this Nets team, there shouldn’t be a lack of opportunities.

Although Ojelye has not hired an agent, leaving a return the SMU open if he doesn’t get good feedback from NBA personnel.
