Jonathan Motley would provide the Los Angeles Lakers with high energy off of the bench. Motley showed growth as the season went on, he is now a projected first round pick. He could go earlier than number 28 and I wouldn’t be surprised.

The failed experiment of the $72 million man Timofey Mozgov is the catalyst in the Lakers using yet another first round pick on a big man. They selected Julius Randle seventh in 2014, Larry Nance 27th in 2015, and Ivica Zubac in the second round last year. Motley reminds me of the aforementioned Julius Randle, both are high energy, do-it-all bigs.
