Frank Ntilikina is this year’s mystery man. The Sacramento Kings desperately needs a player to rebuild their dysfunctional franchise around. The French guard has improved a lot over the past year and is finally getting consistent top 10 attention. At the 2016 Under 18 European Championship, Ntilikina won the MVP.

The potential is there, Ntilikina has the length needed to be great on the defensive side of the ball. Standing 6-5 with a scary 7-0 wingspan, he will be able to guard multiple positions. In addition, given his advanced play-making skills Ntilikina may be able to get the best out of the young guards such as Buddy Hield and Ben McLemore.

Ntilikina also has a consistent outside shot already in his arsenal. For Strasbourg Ntilikina has shot very impressive 45.7 percent from three. Taking all of these attributes into account Frank Ntilikina can be a scarily good player when he develops. The Kings don’t have a good track record when it comes to developing top talent, hopefully Ntilikina will be different.
