Philadelphia 76ers rookie center Joel Embiid had to sit on the bench for two year, endure the trolling of countless social media bubble bursters, two trips overseas, plenty of national media skepticism, and only had 31 games to show for his trouble.

Oh, but what a sweet run those 31 games were! 7-foot-2 rookie center Joel Embiid ruled on both ends of the basketball court. Embiid led the team in scoring, rebounds, and blocked shots.  Now he will lead the team at the 2017 NBA Lottery.
