The 2017 NBA Lottery is filled with the anticipation of a powerball lottery for the Philadelphia 76ers. The jackpot is earning the right to pick the top prospect in the 2017 NBA Draft.

It’s time! The 2017 NBA Lottery is now officially upon us.  And if you are a fan of the Philadelphia 76ers, you have  any number of ways to leave the lottery feeling great about the teams chances.

Even if the team does NOT land the Los Angeles Lakers pick in this draft (albeit 53.1 percent chance that it does convey), the Sixers can take optimism in that pick losing all protections in the 2018 NBA Draft, a draft that rivals 2017 in depth and height of true NBA Talent.

In the evening, the Philadelphia 76ers not only learn where the NBA Lottery places them, but will also determine whether the ever elusive first round pick of the Los Angeles Lakers will finally fall to the grasp of the Philadelphia 76ers.

On one hand, If the pick does land, that will give the Sixers six picks in the very talented pool of basketball prospects this year.   On the other hand, it will also land the team two picks in the top ten.  In fact, if the fates are especially kind, that could even become two picks in the top five.

The best case scenario for the Philadelphia 76ers is 1, 4, 36, 39, 46, and 50.  That would not only set the team up for a playoff run this year, but could very well set the team on a championship run in the very near future.
