In the 2015 NBA lottery, the Philadelphia 76ers faced a dilemma. On one hand, should the team package draft assets at an attempt to wrest a top pick opportunity from the Minnesota Timberwolves?  The prize was heralded center Karl Anthony Towns. On the other hand, the Philadelphia 76ers were swimming in assets.  Rather, the chance at assets.  Aiming at that 2015 NBA Lottery, the Philadelphia 76ers had the optimal outcome of picking 1, 6,11, and 19.

History proves that the Philadelphia 76ers emerged with one selection, the third pick of the 2015 NBA Draft.  The evening was heartbreaking for the fans of the Philadelphia 76ers. A team with plenty of “chances” to score as many as four first round picks in the 2015 NBA Draft, instead ended up at three.
