Sam Sticks With Three

But at that three pick, and he had multiple occasions, Sam Hinkie did no such magic. The value of the NBA Draft was at his fingertips with all but two players. And so, he took his shot. He landed Joel Embiid (good) and Jahlil Okafor (well, not quite a fit). But he didn’t try to move up from three.  And to be honest, he didn’t try to move back either.

The destiny of the Philadelphia 76ers is to do their homework, prepare for all contingencies, and take what the rain gives them.  The Philadelphia 76ers are a very good and undervalued team right now. This team is no longer desperate to find A superstar. In some opinions, the team is already two-thirds of the way there.

Draft Fit

There are numerous players who can help the Philadelphia 76ers this season.  The team simply needs to examine the roster, and fill holes and reinforce weak areas.

The Sixers no longer need to overwhelm other teams to trade, nor does the team possess the magic of forcing teams to seek the 76ers to land their player. Now, the Philadelphia 76ers are in the NBA mainstream.  It’s up to the team to uncover the best fit for the roster at number three.

Bryan Colangelo landed Ben Simmons, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, and Furkan Korkmaz in the 2016 NBA Draft.  On my board, they were all top 15 players from that draft.  Now he has a chance to boost the team once more.

It will all work out. Trust the Process.
