Korkmaz Buyout Aware

Does that discourage Korkmaz? Not in the least.  Just read how he responded to ALICIA PING-QUON WITTMEYER of the Denver Post:

"“I had a buyout problem,” Korkmaz said. “At the beginning of the season, I didn’t have any opportunity to leave from Anadolu Efes because I did not have a buyout to come to the NBA. But during the season, I talked to our GM and my manager talked to my GM and they got permission for me from the club for the buyout. I know it’s big money, but if I get a job with good pay, I will pay for my buyout.”"

In the current environment, if the buyout remains at $2,000,000 as some reports indicate, the cost to Furkan Korkmaz exceeds his projected salary of $1,200,000 as the 26th player in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Ah… but that buyout could be made over multiple years. So where there is a will, there is a way.
