But is PF correct priority?

The recent depth chart analysis revealed the team has several areas on the lineup needing attention. In fact, the depth chart offered up a curious observation. The Philadelphia 76ers, a team ripe with front court talent, is now rather shallow in the front court.  The team did not act to retain Nerlens Noel, and the team outright traded away Jerami Grant.  If the team manages to deal center Jahlil Okafor this off-season, the roster shrinks to six players to fill three front court positions.

So the fact is that Bryan Colangelo is correct. The team does need a power forward. But that is simply one of the front court needs this year.  In the course of a year, the front court depth of 2016 has evolved into a 2017 need.

Fortunately, the team has starters and solid reserves on the roster at each role. So the obvious solution is to reinforce the team with developing talent from the second round of this draft.  But don’t expect that to be the end all for the Philadelphia 76ers.
