V.   Passion

Whenever I think of passion, raw unbridled emotional energy, the image of Richaun Holmes automatically comes to mind. Holmes is entering his third NBA season.  If he sees the same level of improvement in his third season as he exhibited in his second year, he will be an NBA All-Star.

Holmes improved in virtually all statistics.  But of all areas, the aspect I am most impressed with is his preserving the pure Philly fan passion that has become his trademark.

Passion Is The Trademark

Passion is the last piece to a truly Bad Boy team. It is the energy on the court that begins in the stands.  But it doesn’t stay in one player. It’s infectious. This team, this roster, feeds on the passion from the stands.  As the team began to win, you could see the appreciation in the faces of players in post game interviews. There is much more at work here than just a W.

So how does this stack up to head coach Brett Brown’s philosophy on the Pace Space Pass?
