Boston Celtics selecting Markelle Fultz opens door for Philadelphia 76ers

Pigs Get Slaughtered
There is an old adage on Wall Street. “Bulls make money, Bears make money, Pigs get slaughtered“. In short, trying to be too greedy can result in a team falling flat on its face.
Now don’t get me wrong. The Boston Celtics are a very talented team with an almost unavoidable destiny with post-season play in 2018.
And then they get to fact the Cleveland Cavaliers again.
But there is a remote chance of the Philadelphia 76ers making the playoffs this season. After all, if you look at the roster, there is as much talent there as that of the Portland Trail Blazers or Chicago Bulls. And if the Philadelphia 76ers make it to the playoffs, anything goes.
Why?

Playoff Philadelphia 76ers Good Paint Play
A playoff Philadelphia 76ers team will have perfected the front court play of Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, and Robert Covington. As such, you can expect this team to be physical in the paint, and be a much better defensive team than they have been in recent years. In fact, to make it to the playoffs, that must happen.
That is exactly the type of team that will give the Celtics fits. And that is the team the Philadelphia are developing.
