With franchise legend, Manu Ginobili, seemingly heading for retirement, Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs should look towards drafting another two guard. Derrick White is the best available shooting guard left in this draft, his story is also very Sn Antonio-esque.

The beauty of what the Spurs do with young talent is that they don’t force them to play early in their careers, they have to earn all the minutes they get. Kyle Anderson has just finished up his third season with the Spurs and he still isn’t getting regular playing time.

The Colorado product will be able to sit behind proven players such as Danny Green and Jonathon Simmons (should he return) for the time being, I have know doubt that White will eventually earn the starting job, as he has earned everything he got so far in his career.
