This is a no-brainer if you are the Sacramento Kings. De’Aaron Fox actually wants to go to the Kings. When a player wants to play in Sacramento, they need to get that player right away. It doesn’t happen everyday where a player openly says he wants to play for the most dysfunctional franchise in basketball.

It appears like the Kings may actually have a plan, perhaps even a direction. They now have a fairly good foundation with Fox, Buddy Hield, Willie Cauley-Stein, Skal Labissiere, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Georgios Papagiannis. They should be a decent team in a couple of years.

The backcourt of Fox and Hield could be very good very soon. I see them becoming the poor mans backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal, I’m sure Kings fans will be pleased with that. Fox offers elite speed and finishing ability at the rim, whilst Hield offers some knockdown shooting. However, Fox isn’t the playmaker Wall is.

The future looks somewhat bright in Sac-Town.
