Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is a constant source of great entertainment on social media. Suddenly, after three years of enduring NBA fans trolling, some are annoyed that he remains active on twitter and instagram

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid rehabbed his twice-operated-on-foot for two years. Then, after debuting as a redshirted-NBA-rookie last year, his season ended after 31 games.  When he played, he played incredibly well.

In fact, his minutes restrictions and light work in numbers of games were the only defense that could stop the 7-foot-2 center from Cameroon. Perhaps it is that light body of NBA game work which resulted in his low comparative rating in the NBA video game player hierarchy.

More potential than the NBA is comfortable with

This is the world of the modern NBA. the professional sport with too few stars and too many casual fans.  Amidst the maelstrom of social media stands Joel Embiid.  His potential to play in this NBA is so massive, that if he realizes his full destiny, the game of modern basketball may change.

He changes the complexion of the Philadelphia 76ers defense.

But he changes the complexion of the Philadelphia 76ers offense as well.

And he has done so in just 31 NBA games.
