Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid endured social media trolls. Let him tweet.

Don’t toss the gauntlet at Embiid, folks!
Tell him he can’t do something, and he’ll never stop until he does it. The louder the naysaying, the more determined he becomes. That’s not saying he spends another 30 minutes practicing in the gym. His entire discipline becomes more focused.
His is the potential of an NBA elite player.
Don’t make him angry
He is the equivalent of an NBA black belt. He will watch videos, head to the gym to work on the moves, and then execute plays nearly flawlessly in the next game. And anyone who trolls him gives him more reason to do so. His focus in a normal game is better than average. Troll him, and you launch that focus into the superhuman realm.
Is there a question of his durability? Perhaps. But that number should hover between 60-80 games at the moment. He is not experiencing a pattern of repetitive injuries to the same areas of the body. And his performance has shown no degradation despite being on-the-bench for two years.
Next: A Philadelphia Phoenix trade proposal
This Philadelphia 76ers roster is loaded with talent. The team simply needs one player to assume the lead, call the cadence, and get everyone synced up. That individual is Joel Embiid. He has mastered social media to the point where he is as entertaining off-court as he is on-court.
