The 5 biggest elements in the potential LeBron to Philadelphia recruiting
5: The Lakers miss the playoffs and Paul George resigns in Oklahoma City
The noise surrounding LeBron to the Lakers has escalated, with reports swirling James would love to go to LA and finish out his career there. With other rumors surrounding Paul George wanting to return to his hometown and suit up in purple and gold, James would be much more inclined to make his move to LA if there was another proven star there in George. If George stayed in Oklahoma City and the Lakers whiff on their playoff hopes, not only would it publicly embarrass LaVar Ball but it would hurt the franchises long-awaited chance at bringing in James.
4: The Cavs must continue to blow up
As noted earlier, the Cavs are not having an ideal offseason. They parted ways with their general manager who LeBron vocally supported, made no significant moves, and may now lose their All-Star point guard.

If this trend of negatives continues in Cleveland, do not expect LeBron to return. He will not sit around while things blow up, he delivered his promise of a title and now can freely walk from Cleveland with no regrets.
3: Joel Embiid needs to stay healthy
For the Sixers to become a potential destination for James, the franchises gem and best player Joel Embiid must stay healthy. James is not going to a place where he does not think he can win, and if Embiid is on the floor, the Sixers can become a contender in the Eastern Conference a lot quicker then people believe.
If Embiid is able to give the Sixers 65-plus games this season and show his dominance on a larger scale, there is no doubt in my mind he will solidify himself as one of the leagues premier big man, if not the best. James will look to go somewhere to create a new “big three” and it is key Embiid proves he can be apart of that if the Sixers want to have the slightest chance at luring James to Philadelphia.
