Reason I: Tony Wroten coined Trust The Process.

Professional basketball is a business. So let’s start there. In the course of business, there is the product (a professional basketball game), the entertainment value (come out and see Joel Embiid lead his Sixers to victory!), and the marketing strategy (Do you Trust the Process? Show your support and come on out to cheer on your Sixers!)

Getting Tony Wroten on this roster would certainly expand the marketing options. Tony “Trust” Wroten teams up with Joel “The Process” Embiid.

Little did Tony Wroten know when he coined that response just how significant of a phrase he authored. Unfortunately for him so far, he has not participated with the team since the return of Joel Embiid.

Two-Way option

With a roster set at 17 (as you factor in the two-way players), there is room enough to give Tony Wroten a shot at NBA redemption. Even if he signs to the two-way contract, he knows he will have the opportunity to play for the 76ers down the road.

Conversely, the team has expelled, traded, cashed in, and simply walked away from the players who endured so much anguish in the uniform.  There is an invaluable investment to make in the loyalty department by bringing back the single player who understood what it takes to build a championship, that he is quoted countless times in a day. It’s time to return the loyalty. Bring Tony Wroten back, Philadelphia!
