  • But…

Philadelphia rebuilt the team from the ashes just three years ago. And the team that has emerged to the 2017-2018 season is loaded with salary cap space, draft picks (still), young talent, and even potent free agents.

If Philly can, we can too!

From the moment these Sixers lock a playoff spot at season’s end, you can bet the whispers about Sam Hinkie’s return to the NBA will become open conversations.  There are simply too many team in the NBA short of cash, draft picks, hope, and a viable plan to get back into playoff conversations. One of them will make the call.  And that day will be a very dark day for Philadelphia 76ers fans.

But it will not happen overnight.  That first call will simply be a shot across the bow of Sixers fans. It will not be the first opportunity. It will be a second, or third. Sam Hinkie will be quite careful about his next employer. And that means he will likely succeed once more.
