NBA Twitter is a huge thing. Here are some of the best follows in the Philadelphia 76ers‘ Twitter Universe.
More than any other sport, Twitter provides an outlet for nearly constant chatter, discussion and feedback for fans, players, media and teams to interact. For many sports fans in Philadelphia, WIP, SportsCenter, Philly Sports Talk and the Daily News are thier main sources of news and discussion.
But what if I told you that the real talent is being crowdsourced now? What if there was a place where very insightful people interacted with players in real time? If you haven’t considered Twitter for sports before and think of it like Facebook, the distinctions are very real and absolutely key.
Facebook is intended to keep in touch with people you know. Twitter is for keeping up with people you wish you knew.
Please allow me to introduce you to some great follows. I’m going to split this up in some logical groupings — analysis, NBA related humor, national media — but first lets get to know our contributors here at The Sixer Sense.
What if I told you: the best two-way player is the best player.

I’m starting to think that Brian Isn’t a #Prokafor.

Trust me Owen, these seats will be much more expensive on StubHub next year.
Each time @BenSimmons25 backs down a PG in the post I'm yelling "He put another shrimp on the Barbie!"
— Jason Blevins (@Json_Blevins) August 7, 2017
Just so you don’t think I’m a complete homer, I fully intend to yell out “Blunder from down under!” after Ben’s first turnover. #FairandBalanced
Where else are you going to find Justin Anderson content? Nowhere else, I’m fairly certain.
the Philadelphia 76ers ended 2016-2017 banged up and won 28 games. ESPN gives them 33 Ws this year. Huh?https://t.co/OTTaa09ws5

I’m book-ending this section with our other site expert Bret Stuter. He makes a strong argument here.
The National Media
I'm about to make an E-mail filter to auto delete an E-mail if it contains both Okafor and Noel in it.
— Derek Bodner (@DerekBodnerNBA) August 6, 2017
#Godner has to go first here. He is putting out the best pay wall content in the business. Derek is Philadelphia-focused but also is one of the best in the nation at draft analysis.
Portland has traded Allen Crabbe to Brooklyn for Andrew Nicholson, league sources tell ESPN.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) July 25, 2017
They call it a #WojBomb. No one breaks NBA news quite like the Woj. Great podcast host also.
Lakers want to maintain as much flexibility for pursuit in free agency next year, and found an agreement with Bryant. https://t.co/SwaNTmErYr
— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) July 27, 2017
Shams is Woj for millenials… He is an up-and-comer and has broken some great stories this offseason.

Excellent long form takes from Tjarks.

Unparralleled Draft analysis.
Spike may not like his categorization here. Truth is Spike could fit in so many categories including dogfather of The Process. He is woven into the fabric of Philadelphia sports as we know it. As program director at WIP and the host of The Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast, Spike is the center of the Sixers Twitter universe. If you’ve seen the highlights of the lottery party, well Spike is the founder, host and organizer. Thanks Spike! #ISaidtheName
It's getting kind of pathetic how hard Bron is trying to get to Philly. Just hope we can find mins for the young man. https://t.co/KvZZirKzcZ
— Vin Thee Insider®️ (@vinfosh) July 22, 2017
Vincent Freshman is his real name, probably. Always good for a Hinkie reference, joke or mild trolling.
I'm shocked at the stupidity of Zach Randolph finding himself in this situation. https://t.co/u4zkHCRNCd

Preposterous, and things of that nature…

There are legitimately hundreds of others I could recommend and I apologize for any that I have excluded. I would highly recommend augmenting your NBA entertainment experience with this outlet where takes are hot, in real time and never ending. Apologies in advance for your new addiction.
