The Philadelphia 76ers are, once more, undergoing a transformation. This year, the team welcomes top-selected Markelle Fultz, rewelcomes Ben Simmons, and hopes for more Joel Embiid. But can three new stars shine simultaneously for the Philadelphia 76ers?

The Philadelphia 76ers are doing something no other NBA team has ever done before. No, not tanking. And no, not featuring their stars for NBA Media Day.

It’s something more subtle, and far more historic, than either of those. You see, the Philadelphia 76ers will debut not one, but two, top-draft-selections simultaneously.  With both Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz stepping onto the basketball court together for the same team, it will mark the first time two number one draft picks debut simultaneously.

And that’s a good thing, right?  Well, maybe.
