25. Jamal Murray, Denver Nuggets

Murray is finally primed to take over Denver’s starting point guard duties. After a rookie season in which he flashed some serious potential, his combination of shooting and off-ball skills should allow him to flourish in a consistent role alongside Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap.

Even with defensive flaws, Murray showed All-Star potential last season. His scoring could develop into a legitimate go-to weapon for this Nuggets team in the coming years, while his playmaking skills have gone vastly underrated in systems that haven’t always embraced them.

Murray will function as a legitimate primary creator who can thrive as an off-ball weapon — versatility that meshes well with today’s trends. He and Gary Harris compliment each other nicely in the backcourt as well, giving the team enough offensive firepower to counteract their defensive shortcomings.
