Fultz is the real deal
I watched Markelle Fultz play for the University of Washington. Neither Lonzo Ball nor Jason Tatum are close to Fultz’s ceiling. If you check out some write ups over at the Husky Haul, you can get some good information on this player:

Markelle Fultz is the ideal fit for the Sixers. But integrating him into the defensive and offensive roles he will eventually excel at requires patient coaching, practice, and playing time. You know the team sat Embiid for two years, Noel and Simmons for one year. Only Jahlil Okafor played out of the gate, but he had a carte blanch opportunity.
Fultz’s abilities will shine through
Markelle Fultz is a gifted young man. He is coming off the bench yes, but he is a 19-year-old who was injured in both summer league and in preseason. His development, already challenged by having far more to process than other players, is now further hindered.
But hindered is not DOA. Fultz is far too talented, even with injuries, to keep on the bench for long. Coach Brown is a pretty wise coach. He is making Fultz leave the table hungry. As Fultz incorporates more, he will play more.

Recall the route of TLC last season. He started so raw, oftentimes committing more fouls than points scored. By season’s end, he was a complete player. Fultz will deliver even better. By mid-season, he will earn the starting role and everyone will see the combination long dreamt about.
Mark your calendars today. This is the day The Process finally delivers the team worth the wait. If you didn’t TrustTheProcess before today, don’t bother. From now on, TrustYourEyes
