If only Joel Embiid stepped up, this would be a short tale indeed.  Scrappy T.J. McConnell ignited from the words of his teammate. Seldom willing to shoot, he drilled a buzzer-beating game-winner which was one of the best plays of the season.

    The team so many stepped on suddenly found ways to fight back. This team continued to fight on, despite losing Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, Robert Covington, Jerrryd Bayless, Ben Simmons to injuries.  Meanwhile, both Sergio Rodriguez and Gerald Henderson fought through nagging injuries to suit up.

    Still, the genie was out of the bottle. The once designated misfit toys began to win. Now, they needed two more ingredients. The first is a mission statement – a vision to bind the organization to one purpose. The second is weapons. Let’s discuss in that order:
