Stauskas is hungry for playing time and for success. Cleveland offers both right now, far more than any chance he will have with the Philadelphia 76ers. Conversely, the limited role on the Sixers may be just what the doctor ordered to rejuvenate the career of Derrick Rose, who has seen his share of disappointment in the NBA in recent years. The Philadelphia 76ers have Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Coach Brett Brown, and an entire organization focused on giving NBA players long careers. Rose, given an option to join the Philadelphia 76ers, should jump at the chance.

In the end, this one seems like an open and shut case. The Cleveland Cavaliers would benefit from a young inexpensive and versatile option to fill their point guard needs. The Philadelphia 76ers would benefit from having an elite veteran to help mentor their young players, and perhaps suit up as the team nears and participates in the NBA playoffs.
