Despite struggling with his shot in the early going, Brown is showing off the all-around versatility teams crave in today’s NBA. Oregon lost a lot of firepower this offseason as well, meaning Brown will be a continued focal point as the season progresses.

Even with talented wings like Andrew Wiggins and Jimmy Butler, Brown could give Minnesota some immediate value. His shooting should come around, while his off-ball instincts and secondary playmaking skills allow him to fit into a number of different spots on offense.

Defensively, Brown’s length (6-foot-6 with a 6-foot-11 wingspan) could allow him to effectively guard or switch between four positions with success as his frame fills out.
