The Spurs taking the international route wouldn’t surprise too many people, and Kurucs seems to be flying under the radar this season. He was largely regarded as a mid-first round talent last season, and should remain in the top-30 conversation with another year in Barcelona under his belt.

He’s a skilled scorer at 6-foot-8 who the Spurs could throw into their always-productive player development system. His shot has been streaky in the past, but his mechanics are projectable, meaning there’s plenty of room for improvement.

A thin frame and limited length hurt him defensively, but expect to hear Kurucs’ name more once the draft gets closer.
