SG/SF. Syracuse. 28. player. Pick Analysis. Tyus Battle. 125. Scouting Report

At 6-foot-5 with a 6-foot-8 wingspan, defense will be Battle’s calling card at the next level. He already has a mature frame at 20 years old, and adds to that with nice toughness on that end of the floor.

Offensively, Battle still has some question marks. His 3-point shot is solid and he has a nice mid-range pull-up game, but limited handles and lackluster awareness hurt him quite a bit.

A malleable athlete with 3-and-D potential is enough to tempt the Hawks, though, who can place him into one of the league’s best player development programs.
