Ayton isn’t a human being. He’s somewhere in the range of 7-feet with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, but combines than with insane strength and mobility that’s comparable to few names outside of Philly’s own Joel Embiid.

Aside from physical prowess, Ayton also has a well-developed skill set. He’s a strong finisher at the rim, but can use a short-range pull-up or his 3-point shot to stretch the floor when needed. He’s also adept when running the floor in transition, something that isn’t too common for bigs with his size.

It’s defense, however, that launches Ayton into the same conversation as Bagley and Porter. He can defend in space, and has clear potential as a shot blocker. Chicago needs a cornerstone, and Ayton gives them one.
