13. Nickeil Alexander-Walker, PG, Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech stud, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, has been a sensation to start the season. The freshman was expected to make a big impact for the Hokies, but it wasn’t expected to be this big of an impact. Alexander-Walker is currently averaging  14.9 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists per game.

Also, Alexander-Walker has looked the part, he’s played like a college veteran. The 6-foot-5 point guard has smooth handles, and is a gifted playmaker. As he further adjusts to the collegiate game, his performances should become even more polished, which is a scary thought.

Alexander-Walker’s best game came against Citadel, he put up 29 points, whilst shooting 10-16 from the field. The potential for Alexander-Walker at the next level is very high, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team in the top-10 take a gamble and select the Canadian star. His current performances certainly warrant top-10 looks.
