11. Kevin Knox, SF/PF, Kentucky
To start the season, Kevin Knox has emerged as one of the top options for a stacked Kentucky team. Knox has proven to be a solid scorer, as well as one of the best rebounding forwards in the nation. Perhaps, Knox has started out better than a lot of scouts had expected.
The forward is currently averaging 16.6 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game. Moreover, Knox has shot the ball decently from behind the arc, where he’s shooting at a 34.2 percent clip. This stat line is similar to Brandon Ingram who previously played for Duke in 2015-16. Ingram put up 17.3 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, and shot 41 percent from three.
Knox has the tools to before a lockdown defender at the next level — 6-foot-9, with a 7-foot-5 wingspan. However, before entering the league, Knox must put on weight as his frame is too frail at the moment. If he doesn’t do this, Knox may struggle mightily in the early portion of his NBA career, similarly to the aforementioned Ingram.
