6. Mohamed Bamba, PF/C, Texas

Texas center, Mohamed Bamba, has already shown his wide array of skills in just a few games. The length and skill of Bamba makes him a unique prospects, one that we’ve never seen before. He has the length of Rudy Gobert, yet has also shown he can stretch the floor. His three-point shot isn’t quite there just yet, but I’m sure it’s an area that he’ll want to work on.

For the season, Bamba is averaging 10.3 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game and four blocks per game. That’s seven blocks per-40 minutes! As you can see, Bamba is influential on the defensive end, around the paint. He’s undoubtedly aided by his insane 7-foot-9 wingspan.

Offensively, Bamba has started slow from behind the arc, shooting just 15.4 percent on three-pointers. Conversely, Bamba has been unstoppable around the paint, making 62.9 percent of two-pointers. As the season progresses, it’s important for Bamba to improve his deep shot as it could greatly impact his draft stock.

Bamba might just be the next unicorn.
