4. DeAndre Ayton, C/PF, Arizona

Some would argue that DeAndre Ayton has been the most impressive freshman so far this season. The Bahamas native is averaging 20.4 points per game, 11.4 rebounds per game and 1.4 blocks per game for Arizona. Pretty good stats, right?

Ayton has proved to be nearly unstoppable around the rim, he’s just too big for other players to handle. On the season, Ayton’s field-goal percentage is standing at 61.4 percent. From three-point range, however, Ayton is shooting just 29.4 percent.

On the defensive end, Ayton has the size and physicality to develop into a difference maker, possessing an impressive 7-foot-5 wingspan.

Draft experts have compared Ayton’s game to that of Philadelphia 76ers center, Joel Embiid. Ayton shows the same kind of raw, yet dominating talent. Ayton could be another name in a long list of future star big men. The NBA is in good hands.
