Outside of Luka Doncic, Dzanan Musa might be the best international prospect in this draft class. Musa is a talented scorer, averaging 12.6 points per game in all competitions for Cedevita this season. Additionally, Musa his knocking down 38.4 percent of his three-point attempts in all competitions.

The Portland Trail Blazers have their guard positions sorted out — Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are the future in Portland. Also, Jusuf Nurkic has emerged as the unlikely franchise center for the Trail Blazers. Upon drafting Zach Collins in last year’s draft, he should solidly the power forward spot. That leaves the small forward position up for grabs… Musa would fit perfectly into this lineup.

As we regularly see with international prosects, they tend to pull their names out of the draft at the last possible chance. I, for one, hope that Musa keeps his name in the draft because he is a very talented player.
