I’m sure everyone would hate Grayson Allen even more if this happened. Going from one of, if not, the most most hated player in college basketball, being drafted to the most hated NBA team would only fuel the hatred towards him. However, Allen is a great fit with the Golden State Warriors.

After a disappointing junior season for the Duke Blue Devils, Allen has bounced back and had a strong start to his final campaign in college basketball. This season, Allen is averaging 17.2 points per game, as well as 4.4 rebounds per game. Additionally, Allen is shooting 43 percent from behind the arc this season.

I think it’s fair to say that Allen has saved his draft stock. If Allen had a similar season to last season, he would have been at risk at not getting drafted at all in the summer. Now, he has one mission left: win another National Championship.
