22. De’Anthony Melton, PG/SG, USC

The FBI’s investigation into Melton continues, although the evidence we’ve seen suggests he should be playing. Even if he ends up sitting out the whole year, though, expect Melton to still get some first round looks.

At 6-foot-3 with a 6-foot-8 wingspan, Melton’s defensive profile is impressive. He’s capable of guarding multiple positions on the perimeter, while his energy on that side of the ball has always impressed. He has a solid floor with defense alone.

Offensively, Melton has some obvious potential. He’s a smart passer who thrives in transition, but cleaner handles and a better 3-point shot remain points of emphasis. He shot just 28.4 percent from deep last season.
