Robinson could have benefited from a year of college ball, but he left Western Kentucky after an odd series of events this summer. Now, he’ll look to go straight from high school to the draft, with a year of training in between.
At 7-foot-1 with a 7-foot-4 wingspan, Robinson should get mid-to-late first round looks on physical tools alone. He has clear upside as a rim protector, while his mobility — at his size — is a rare bonus.
Robinson won’t do quite as much offensively. He has shown some signs of a jumper in the past, but will function mostly as a roll man and lob-catcher at the next level. There’s some skill to work with, though, so the ceiling is high.
