17. Troy Brown, SG/SF, Oregon
Standing 6-foot-7 with a 6-foot-8 wingspan, there’s a lot to like with Brown’s game — even if he’s further behind that some anticipated. He’s a skilled passer for his size, working well in the pick-and-roll and making impressive reads for an 18-year-old wing.
Brown has always been lauded for his defensive upside as well. He has a solid frame that should continue to fill out, allowing him to defend multiple positions while filling a versatile role on the other end as well.
He’s also looking more comfortable as a spot-up shooter, hitting on 36 percent of his 3-point attempts. That’s a solid improvement over his early-season struggles.
