27. Jarred Vanderbilt, PF, Kentucky

Vanderbilt remains sidelined with a foot injury, but his recovery efforts are ramping up. If all goes as planned, he shouldn’t need a full year of basketball to garner first round consideration.

At 6-foot-8 with a 7-foot-1 wingspan, Vanderbilt’s athleticism and playmaking potential make up for his lack of a jumper. If he does eventually get back on the court, it’ll be interesting to see how he meshes with Kentucky’s frontcourt-heavy rotation — especially considering their spacing issues.

Defensively, Vanderbilt stacks up favorably at the next level. He’s long with mobility out to the perimeter, giving him a solid floor even if his offensive development doesn’t pan out. It’s tough to drop him outside the top 30, even with the injury concerns.
