A 7-footer with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, McCoy has all the physical tools you need at the five spot. He’s still figuring things out defensively, but he should improve with time.

Phoenix is still trying to sift through their options in the frontcourt with Marquese Chriss, Dragan Bender and Alex Len, but McCoy could give them some solid depth. He’s a skilled scorer in the post, averaging 17.6 points in his first season with UNLV. He also grinds on the boards, averaging 9.7 per game.

As an NBA-ready body with a polished interior game, McCoy should keep his stock hovering around the late first round. His upside largely hinges on developing a jumper and improving defensively, but he has the base necessities of somebody the Suns can grab at 23.
