Diallo is one heck of an athlete, which is where most of his stock is based at this point. At 6-foot-6, he’s an impressive transition threat whose tools should translate into solid defense. The rest of his game is still a work in progress.

As it currently stands, Diallo isn’t a dynamic creator nor a reliable shooter. He’s hitting on 34.8 percent of his 3-point shots, which hints at some improvement, but his consistency comes and goes.

The Hawks can afford to take Diallo with one of their three first round picks, inserting him into one of the best player development programs in the NBA.
