The Hawks add to their backcourt depth again, grabbing a skilled comboguard who can take some — if not all — of Malcolm Delaney‘s minutes off the bench. Standing around 6-foot-6, Milton can defend multiple positions while contributing across the board offensively.

Milton is currently averaging 18.4 points and 4.6 assists while shooting 43.6 percent from deep. All of those totals are career highs, although his perimeter shooting has floated above 42 percent in all three seasons at SMU.

Dennis Schroder is the only long-term piece the Hawks have in the backcourt right now, and even his future with the organization is questionable. Adding a couple of backcourt pieces in Milton and Diallo, along with Ayton at the top, would make for a good haul.
