The other side of Philadelphia fans

But now, the softer fuzzier side of the Philadelphia fans can shine forth. No fan base is more loyal, more loving, of her sports icons than Philly.  Just ask Bryan Dawkins, or Allen Iverson, or Dr. J.  The love of these fans for her stars is forever.

Joel Embiid, the NBA player who simply needs to see moves to duplicate them on the basketball court, now has a new image to replicate.

The sight of hoisting a championship trophy for the City of Philadelphia.

A lesson of love

Now these Philadelphia 76ers, young and new to the NBA and Philadelphia, have the opportunity to witness the positive Philadelphia passion.  The city is pouring out wave after wave of love to each and every Philadelphia Eagles player.  And that is and will make an incredible impact to the Philadelphia 76ers roster.

Next: Sixers need J.J. Redick to regain form

The Philadelphia 76ers are the United Nations of the NBA, boasting players from around the world. Each player represents their nation’s hopes of winning an NBA championship. Blue collar players like Dario Saric, whose family understood basketball’s challenges and promises, have shared their son with Philadelphia in the hopes that their dreams, and our dream, are realized.  Now that Sixers players see first-hand what a championship means to this city, buckle up.  They can begin to understand that their dream is our dream. They are not alone.  In fact, it’s no longer Philadelphia against the world. For these 76ers, it’s the world against the NBA.
