16. Anfernee Simons, SG, IMG Academy

Simons is going through a post-graduate season at IMG Academy, meaning he can make the jump to NBA basketball without going through college. Like most players in his situation, there is an inherent risk with drafting somebody who lacks that kind of experience entirely.

With that said, Simons has all the tools of a high-end prospect long term. He’s an impressive athlete at 6-5, boasting fluid handles and plenty of burst off the bounce. Capable go-to scorers are hard to come by and Simons already has the makings of a viable isolation bucket-getter when called upon.

We’re likely a few years away from seeing where Simons stands amongst NBA competition, but he’s a worthwhile risk for a team that’s willing to wait. He could have one of the higher upsides outside the top six.
