11. Wendell Carter Jr., PF/C, Duke
Carter has picked things up as of late, showing the kind of well-rounded skill set that NBA teams crave. His defense has left question marks, but a sturdy 6-11 frame and 7-3 wingspan should quell some of those concerns.
Offensively, Carter does a lot of nice things. He’s up to 48.3 percent shooting in 1.3 attempts per game from beyond the arc, while his nifty footwork and underrated passing skills make him extremely effective out of the post.
He doesn’t have the athletic upside that some of his upper-lottery counterparts do, but Carter should remain firmly in the lottery discussion between now and June.
