8. Mikal Bridges, SG/SF, Villanova
Bridges has added a lot to his game this season, making him the best upperclassmen in the 2018 crop. He’s the kind of 3-and-D weapon that virtually every team can benefit from.
After playing next to Josh Hart in his first two seasons, Bridges has embraced a bigger role in year three. He’s averaging 16.6 points and doing so with impressive efficiency, hitting on 41.5 percent of his 3-point shots while showing more off the bounce than he has in years past.
Defensively, Bridges is 6-7 with a 7-1 wingspan. That length, combined with his athletic gifts and instincts, should make him an impact defender from day one. He deserves a top-10 nod.
