Media keeps the story alive

And so, when the schedule pits LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers against Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers, there is a bit of intrigue. What goes on in the mind of a legendary NBA player when he faces a player who he actually befriends?

And the questions continue with each game.

It’s led to the intriguing consideration of the two players on the same team.  But the point of the matter is that the Philadelphia 76ers need to be competitive. Competitive enough so that the team would not be wasting their time pursuing LeBron.  From LeBron’s perspective, the Philadelphia 76ers have arrived. So all of this continues to feed the crazy idea of LeBron James signing with the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency.
