3 -49th State Brewing

The 49th State Brewing is a great place to experience the rare cullinary delights of the Alaskan frontier. Along with the seafood fare of Halibut, Salmon and Cod, other entrees feature Buffalo, Alaska King Crab, venison, and yak. Yes, Yak!

Since NFL Sunday football is such an early outing here in Alaska (pregame shows begin at 7:00 a.m), Sports bars typically feature a breakfast menu or buffet.  The 49th Street brewing has a special “NFL Brunch” menu for the discerning football fans.  And when you are ready to switch from coffee to beer, they have a full menu of craft beers as well.  They also have a webpage for special events as well.

But the full calling card is the opportunity to dine on buffalo, yak, king crab, while watching NBA or NFL, NHL of MLB on the tube. Be it fine dining, fine beer, or fine sports, The 49th State Brewing is in my top three for a good reason.
