Robert Williams, PF/C, Texas A&M

A player that doesn’t light up the stat sheet, Robert Williams is an interesting NBA prospect that is projected to be picked in the late lottery or middle of the first round.

Williams’ career-high in points at Texas A&M is just 21 points, which he did twice this season. His offense is very inconsistent and relies heavily on putbacks off offensive rebounds and lobs.

He had some really good games to start the season, but has disappeared in the latter part of the season.

The sophomore is a gifted athlete and has shown his ability to be a dangerous lob threat on many occasions this season, but he doesn’t provide much more than that offensively.

He does have a knack for getting in good position to grab offensive rebounds, but often times he gets beat on the other end.

In the NBA he’ll likely be slotted as a backup five that can run the floor and well play above the rim, but his defense will need to improve.

Texas A&M has an intriguing matchup with 10-seed Providence in the first round, a game many people think can go either way. Williams has the ability to catch the eyes of scouts with his play in the tournament if the Aggies can go on a run.

Next, we’ll take a look at one of the most improved players in all of college basketball.
