Trae Young, PG, Oklahoma

There isn’t much to be said about Trae Young that hasn’t already been said.

A relatively unknown coming in as a freshman, Young has been one of the country’s best players this season, averaging over 27 points per game this season for Oklahoma.

Many people think the Sooners didn’t deserve to be in the tournament, but America got what it wanted — more Trae Young.

Young is an undersized point guard, but that doesn’t matter. He can shoot from just about anywhere on the floor and is a willing passer that racks up plenty of assists, despite the turnovers.

He plays on an Oklahoma team that will likely get bounced in the first round against Rhode Island, but it’s one more chance to watch Young play before he gets picked in the lottery of the upcoming draft.

Finally, we’ll wrap up this region with one of Jackson’s teammates at Michigan State.
