The Nuggets have a chance to add more to their perimeter arsenal with Walker. Although he struggled to find his role with Miami early in the year, the 19-year-old has come on strong as of late, leading the ‘Canes to a sixth seed in the tournament.
While there are still some clears warts in his game, Walker has all the tools NBA teams crave. He’s 6-5 with a 7-1 wingspan, while his three-point shot has come around in recent weeks. He’s also an impressive slasher, where his athleticism shines.
Walker has also put things together on the defensive end, using his length to disrupt opposing ball handlers and get into passing lanes, averaging over a steal per game in conference play.
